Introduction (Summary)
Watch RJ Jaramillo & SingleDad.com visit an Acupuncturist and learn more about Acupuncture!
Necessary Things:
- You need about an hour of your time. Check your HMO or PPO Insurance plan to see if they will cover or co-pay your visit. Use a certified, licensed Acupuncturist.
Step 1:
I have been using Acupuncture for over 15 years. I used to be your typical, "Weekend Warrior" athelete and it took about 3-5 days to work out my aches and pains from my weekend sport activities. I discovered Acupuncture to be one of the best treatments to help speed up my recovery time. Now that my days are over on the LPGA, I now use Acupunture to help me catch up on my sleep and balance my daily stress as a single parent with three children, (can anybody relate?).
Step 2:
I am always asked if I feel the "needles" or "does it hurt?". Actually, I feel very drowsy and drop into a deep sleep... It is hard to explain, but it actually feels like you have been out of it for hours, when it has only been 15- 20 minutes. Give it a try!
Step 3:
Make sure to check with your insurance provider to see if they cover acupuncture treatments. I found that most insurance plans now recognize acupuncture and include treatment in their plans. If you need more help finding a licensed Acupunturist, see the video and the link attachment to this "How To" and contact Jim Chialtas.
