Single Dad's Health Tip

From carpools to coaching, Dads are exposed to lots of germs every day. If you find yourself getting sick often, look for a multi-symptom cold and flu medication with both day and night formulations.

AT&T’s It Can Wait Campaign

AT&T’s latest commuter survey discovered that while most adults recognize the dangers of texting while driving, almost half of them still do it (49%). More so than teens (43%)! What once was considered more of a generational problem among teens, considering they send 5 times more text messages than adults, is really a much bigger issue for adults. In fact, 40% of adults even call it a “habit.”

Dear Members and Guests,

It has always been my vision to provide the highest quality information, products and services to our members. I have also made it my personal commitment to meet and make as many single dad friends as possible and contribute whatever I can to their experience.

With that vision in mind, I am very proud to be expanding our knowledge and exposure to the life of a single dad . Beginning July 15th, SingleDad will be adding a video segment called SingleDad Diaries. This feature will show the day to day life of three single fathers with very distinct and separate lives:

  • A 20-something single dad with one daughter
  • A 30-something, widowed single dad with two sons
  • A 40-something, divorced single dad with three kids

I will be the 40-something and I am surrounded by two other incredible dads who have brought me a greater commitment and inspiration to SingleDad.

Jesse Lozano will be sharing his new life in Los Angeles and addressing the challenges with his aspiring career as a radio DJ on a major Radio Station and as a single father to a beautiful 5-year old daughter, Savannah.

Jesse and I met a few months ago and immediately discovered many similarities to our family upbringing and life experiences in Southern California. I am honored to have him share his life with us all and I feel that his message will speak to our younger single fathers out there dealing with their transition.

Jon Graves will be sharing his life as he raises his two sons after the loss of his wife, Jeseca. I met Jon on the one year anniversary of his loss and I can tell you that this man has a lot to contribute to a very special group of single dads. The dynamics and transition process of a widower is important to share, and I firmly believe as Jon does, that everything happens for a reason… including the timing of our friendship.

Jon is a dedicated father and he shares the same passion, commitment and focus as our members. Please help me welcome these new contributors to SingleDad and go to their profile and drop them a message.

I am very excited about the new feature and I look forward to reading and hearing your comments as always.
-RJ
