Single Parent Dating Q
& A:

Do Women Play Dumb On
Purpose?

I just started dating again after being married for over 15 years. My question
is, do woman play dumb on purpose? I have been using an online dating website
and have come across this behavior more than a couple times. Is this just my
imagination, or are some women afraid to show off their smarts?

Dear Todd,

This question has come across my desk on a few occasions, sure
some men find it cute, but for how long will they find it’s cute? So, either
you’re a magnet for airheads, or you’re the problem. Women try to play dumb
because either they really don’t understand or they think it’s cuter to just
play dumb. If all you’re talking about is sports, then you may want to switch
up the topics. Ask her opinion on something you may think she is interested in,
and more than likely she will open up. Showing interest in her views will show
her you respect her mind and she will most likely open up even more and show
you her intellectual side. Just don’t make fun of her if she tells you about
one of her weird interests. Smart is sexy-but being a smartass is not.
