2013 Men’s Fall Suits

This
winter the Men’s Fashion suit trend is tight, dark and grey. The tight fitted
trousers offer a modern and refreshing look. In addition, this winter is all
about layering the clothes. Many
suits this fall and winter will offer a matching vest to combine with the suit.
These current suit trends look very youthful and very adaptable to anyone
looking for different suit attire. The fabrics in these suits are going to
offer subtle patterns that allow the owner to dress up or dress down the look
of the suit. Men should understand that this basic
wardrobe piece needs to be universal, and this is a question of choosing the
right color, model and style to fit your body type. See the variety offered by Armani, HUGO Boss and John
Varvatos.

Color

When
investing in a suit there is two colors which are classic and safe for business
attire
blue and grey. Another reason why navy blue, charcoal or light grey is
so universally popular across the globe is because they compliment almost any
completion. Light grey in particular can look really chic in a smart
understated way that navy and charcoal cannot. Grey seems to be this winter’s
"Power Suit" color. Look for it in many variations this fall.

Designers this year are also reaching out to capture a wider
male audience with other colors in suits such as: chocolate, burgundy and shades of cobalt blue,
rust, and dark ink. Collar and lapels that are medium to thin in width are in
fashion this winter. When choosing
a suit, you
should consider your skin color and tone when looking at some of the bolder
colored suits. A tan looks great on a darker or Mediterranean skin, and the
color blue will suit lighter complexions.

Double Breasted vs. Single Breasted

The
double-breasted suit look is back and popular right now. The double -breasted
suit is best worn by a Taller, athletic body-type, so make sure you have the
right look to pull off the suit; otherwise, you will transform the suit into
the "box-in" look.

Single
breasted with single or double button jacket tends be the standard suit this
winter. With a variety of new cuts in the suit, these single breasted suits can
offer just about any body type a fresh new look.

Accessories

Hat’s
and scarves are back in Men’s fashion this winter. Find the right hat to
compliment your suit and embrace your new look. SingleDad loves the barre hat and how they are teaming
it with fitted suits. The two-tone bow ties are also slick and the "checkered
print" shirts just add a trendy look and works so powerfully with the new suits
this winter. Give them a try…
