This is a no-holds-barred, brutally honest grooming guide for men. Who could be more honest about what women like than a woman? Try to argue that logic! So here it is, a helpful guide of must have grooming products for men.
Let me give it to you straight. Taking care of your appearance is nothing to be ashamed of, guys. In fact, seeing a guy take pride in how he looks is pretty sexy. (Not to excess, mind you) There is a fine line between a well groomed man and a guy that is obsessed with his appearance. Be careful not to cross that line!
Now, rumor has it that women like "the bad boy". The truth is, yes, women love the rugged look in a man, but we want it....clean. Have you ever noticed how women are drawn to pleasant smelling things? Women like scented candles, women like potpourri, women like flowers......you get the picture. We are repulsed by foul smelling things, and try to replace those odors with things that make us happy. So, keep yourself smelling fresh.
That brings us to the first item in our must have grooming products for men. Invisible, or clear, deodorant. Why invisible? Well, because white clumps of deodorant in the underarms is NOT attractive. It's really not something we want to see, and I'm sure it's not something men would want to see on women either. Sure deodorant makes a good invisible solid stick deodorant that works for sensitive skin, so if you have a reaction to alcohol based You may not even realize the importance of this next product on our list. I'm about to let you in on a myth surrounding men. This is TOP SECRET information that we women talk about. There is a myth that has been floating around for decades, that says a man with a good manicure is good in bed. Have you ever been on a date with a woman, and had her take your hand in hers and admire it? Now you know why. She is examining the softness of your hands, she's looking to see if your nails are clean and cut even, and basically sizing you up. Which brings us to the importance of owning a manicure set. A manicure set is a high up on the list of must have grooming products for men. You don't have to go to extremes, just make sure that the area underneath your fingernails is clean and your nails are cut back evenly.
When you get close to a woman, you don't want her to suddenly notice your face is loaded with blackheads. Chances are, it won't be a deal breaker for her, but it may be embarrassing for you. So, I recommend using a Biore Pore strip once a week. They are so easy to use, there's no reason not to do it. Just wash your face and put the strip where you see blackheads. Just put it in the shower and wash your face with it when you're in there. There's really no work involved, and it will make a big difference in the cleanliness of your face. It leaves you smelling sexy too!
Here's another fact you may not know. Face stubble hurts! It hurts our face when you kiss us, it's hurts our gentle skin when we're being intimate, and too much friction can cause "stubble burn" on us. OUCH! When you're being romantic with a woman, either try to be clean shaven or have your stubble grown out to the point where it feels soft. Applying a moisturizer to your face will help with this problem, so be sure to add facial moisturizer to the list of must have grooming products for men. She will THANK YOU for it!
Nose hair is not a facial hair women like to see. Thus, a nose hair trimmer is also an important addition to our must have grooming products for men list. In all honesty, there are some women that can benefit from this advice too! Regardless of gender, nose hair is bad.
In keeping with the topic of facial hair, every man should own a beard and moustache trimmer. They work great for a quick trim up for many hairy regions on a man's body. I'll just leave it at that.
Men have a rugged scent that women find attractive. Every man has a scent all his own, but they are all caused by pheromones (scented sex hormones). The natural scent of a man is really all he needs to attract women, but IF you decide to wear cologne, do so sparingly. Women can be just as guilty as men in overpowering themselves with perfumes or colognes, but it's just not necessary.
