I remember being a kid and seeing one of my friends in school play his brand new Nintendo, I think I was happier then he was taking it out of the box and plugging everything in for the first time.

Now I get that same feeling just seeing when Manufactures show what they have in the pipeline. CES (Consumer Electronics Show), Every Tech Manufacture in the World attends CES. This is the Show where they can allow the Public to preview what the they will be releasing for the year, and possibility how they view the future of tech over the next several years.

So Far, HP, Microsoft, Google, and many other Very Big Names have announced some very awesome Tech for the coming year, and in a few cases with in the next few months. HP for example has been showcasing a Tablet, Google Just a few Days before CES Introduced the Nexus-One Android 2.1 SuperPhone.

The Tablet PC:
HP, Lenovo, Dell, have all stated, and have shown the different Tablet devices that they will be releasing over the next several years. HP will be Releasing both a Windows 7 based Tablet, and an Android based Tablet. Although I would have to think that it could change to the Chrome OS that Google will be releasing later this year. Which Brings me to the next Awesome thing.

Cloud Computing:
Will be the way computers work, and over the next 5 to 10 years Google will be leading the way to the Cloud. Chrome OS by Google and the JoliCloud OS by JoliCloud will be the first two in the new PC Revolution, By Having a Cloud Based OS you would only need your user name and login and your profile would follow you no matter where you are.

3D in your HDTV:
It was going to happen at some point. Over the Next Year you can expect to see a lot of tech news on new HDTV's having the ability to go 3D. Personally I can see it for a few movies, and even a few games here and there, overall It is rather Fad Sounding to me.

Oh Look, my XBox 360 is following my movments!:
Yep, thats right! Microsoft is going to be releasing Natal, which is the motion caption technology that they are releasing to XBox 360 owners to one up the Nintendo Wii. Which from everything i have read on Gizmodo and other Tech sights, and have seen demoed on a couple of TV shows, It could just one up everyone.

Smartphones, Smartphone, Phoputers!:
Yep the smartphone market is blazing hot right now, with the iPhone just maybe, might kinda, sort of showing up on Verizon Wireless at somepoint this summer, to Google releasing their own phone, the Nexus-One. I have been saying for sometime now that the Smartphone could replace the Laptop, or even the netbook. I love it when I am almost proven right, the Nexus-One has a 1Ghz processor in it, and Qualcomm will be releasing a next-gen process that clocks in at 1.5 Ghz. That some big muscle for a phone, and you can only expect for them to get more powerful and advanced over the next few years.

E-Readers:
The only E-Reader i want is the Amazon Kindle(Which I am hoping i get for my Birthday or for Christmas this year), However there are a few others on the Market. Sony has one, and so does Barns and Noble with the Nook, although at their own admission they are having a few supply issues, but then so did Amazon when the Kindle first came out. The Best thing I can suggest is shop and compare and see how each one may or may not fit your needs.

Streaming Video:
I am going to make a Prediction, and like Nostradamus, It's going to be a whopper of one. In the next 10 to 15 years, physical media will be something you rarely have in your house.  Streaming Media is going to be how you get your movies, your music, and even your TV Shows. Which is what has the MPAA, The RIAA, and The Cable TV industry running scared. Everyone from NetFlix to Apple with the recent purchase of LALA, to Comcast is trying to figure out just how Streaming media is going to be affecting them over the next 5 to 10 years.

Next Month I will be covering the Tech that you will be using in your Car, here's a small hint it involves bluetooth and Ford, and it is Called Sync, and it is built by Microsoft.
