My Can Am Dad, In
Search of: Farmers Market

It was a typical Saturday morning in my San Diego suburb of
Poway. I had awaken before my family and decided to surprise everyone with some
special gifts and produce from our local farmers market in town. I set off
before the coffee maker was ready and this is what happened…

In Search of…

Most towns across the nation have local markets where
independent farmers and entrepenuers have the opportunity to empty my wallet
and fill my storage cases on my Can-Am Spyder, ( up to 40 gallons). As I
started my morning, I told myself a few things to remember on my trip:

  • Find my favorite "Green" Juice Maker
  • Get Veggies for my dinner recipe
  • Don’t forget Flowers for my Wife

And so my journey began.

Can-Am Spyder

The Can-Am Spyder is so much more than a motorcycle. I have
owned and driven many bikes in my lifetime, however, at this stage in my life,
I am looking for something more than what a motorcycle can offer. Life is in
order, which means I have peace of mind in my life. Own my house, bills are
paid and I am at the first stages of getting two of my four children through
college. The freedom to drive safely with a Can-Am Spyder suits my lifestyle
better than the hassles and concerns that my wife has me owning a two-wheel. In
fact, this is the first time my wife likes to ride with me. Having the Can-Am
Spyder gives me the flexibility to travel short and long distances with little
planning or hassle.

Life is in order for me riding a Can-Am Spyder. #RideASpyder

Farmers Market

As I discovered, I wasn’t the only one thinking on taking a
jump on the warm weather and getting to the market early; the lines were just
the same which made the heat index just as unbearable at 9 AM. Something about
rubbing sweaty bodies in the morning with strangers is not so sexy anymore. I
was on a mission to get my items and then get back on my Spyder and home before
breakfast.

Lucky for me, I found the right produce at the right price.
I also found my "Green Machine"
Juicer who made me my special batch of stuff that I can’t even describe but I
like to drink to keep myself "regular" if you know what I mean. My only
challenge was deciding the particular flower arrangement for my wife. I can
honestly tell you, it wasn’t easy. With a little haggling on the right
combination, I was able to get what I wanted and got on my way…

Ride A Spyder

When I got back to my Can-Am Spyder, there wasn’t any
hesitation on the variety of storage options. The Can-Am Spyder RTS Model has
up to 40-Gallons of storage and up to a total rider and storage capacity just
under 500 lbs. The front cabin worked well for with my flowers because it is
deep and the side storage units were great for the other items I had bought at
the Farmer’s Market. In summary, I came, I bought and I conquered the Farmer’s
Market with my Can-Am Spyder.
