Air Wick Scented Oils, National Parks Collection

Are you kidding me?
I love my kids, and they shower every day, but why do their rooms stink
so bad? Is it the socks and dirty
clothes? Maybe, but I do laundry
at least once a week. I’m not the
type of Dad that lets things pile up until there are no more socks or underwear… Maybe it’s the shoes, or just that we
leave the bedroom doors closed during the day to keep our dog out. But even with windows open, it still smells
like a locker room at times.

I’m not too keen on candles, ( too girly and dangerous if
you leave them unattended). I do
like some of the air sprays, but I find they are a temporary solution. I think I may have found just the right
fix with Air Wick.

Air Wick has an outlet Gadget that allows for different
scented oil jars to attach. I
chose the "National Park" scents because each of them fit the rooms and
personalities of my kids. I liked
that the scents, although unique, all had a clean scent that was not too "purfumey". My sinuses were not irritated with
these scents. All rooms were left
with a hint of scent, as if I had just delivered the laundry or vacuumed with
rug powder. Just the scent made
the house feel cleaner. Here are
the ones I tried:

  • Denali: reminded me of the cleaned cotton fabric
smell. It was perfect for my
    laundry room
  • Hawaii: had a fruity and floral scent, which was
perfect for my teenage daughter’s room.
  • American Samoa: reminded me a bit of the coconut
fragrances of the beach. My son
    chose this one.
  • Grand Canyon: This one went in a room in the vicinity of the breakfast
table. I did this because this
fragrance reminder of baked sugar cookies, but also it made the table flowers
    seem more fragrant.

Best of all, according to the box, the oil is supposed to
last 2 months, which is great for Dads like me who need low maintenance. I’m excited about that and will likely
try the matching room sprays for the bathrooms. Oh, and also noted on the packaging is that a portion of the
proceeds from the National Parks scents will be donated to the National Park
Foundation. And that is something
we can all enjoy.

Happy National Fragrance Day! Celebrate with the new limited
edition National Park Collection from Air Wick!
