Hi! My name is Waldo and I live in San Francisco. I have 75/25
custody of my three daughters. My youngest daughter is 4 and wants to spend
time with her mom more, but my other daughters don’t. I come to you for advice.
Should I go back to court with my Ex wife so my daughter can spend more time
with her mom or not?
Signed Worried Waldo,
Dear Worried Waldo
Hmm you got a huge decision on your hands. It’s
very important for your daughter to be spending more time with her mom at her
age. The early years of your daughter’s
life should be spent with her mom too. Mother and daughters bonds are different
then a father and daughters bonds. Let your daughter spend more time with her mom. You might be able to see your daughter being happier being able to spend time with her mom.
It might be hard to be seeing your daughter less than you are use to, but it’s for a very good reason. At first it will be hard for you to even be open to letting her. Just remember looking out for your kids is the best thing to do. Do what’s in your kid’s best interest, even if you don’t like what you have to do.
