Parent Dating: Q & A:
Singles Mixers a waste of time?
Dear Ask SingleDad,
I see "singles mixers" popping up all
over-some dating sites. These are organized events that can be cooking classes,
happy hours and social activities. Being a Single Dad with limited time and availability, would
this be a good opportunity or a waste of my time?
Troy, San Francisco Ca
Don’t say I didn’t warn you, but when
women go to these mixers, they are not there for small talk. They are there to
shop as if it were Black Friday. In other words, they are out to hunt, seek and
snag. Keep in mind, you will be judged very quickly and by a multitude of
personalities. So with that said, being you is of upmost importance. If you are
having a dry spell in your Single Parent Dating, heck, why not give it a try?
What is there to lose? You may just make a great friend along the way or even better;
meet your soul mate…
Good Luck and keep me posted.
